Brother Dogs,
Thanks for the comments. You're definitely one of the guys that needs to get out there for the SB weekend. This year? Come on, man! If lodging is an issue, I got ya covered in a very nice place. If 'spouse' is an issue, can't help ya there..
Lanny,
Saw your thread. I'm always 'around', man! Sometimes i'm less inclined to post due to ...well, the usual, and I could probably speak for barfly also...whatever the case, nice start to the year for you in the NFL! Look forward to seeing you in a few months.
Bobby,
Was up at the ND-Mich game a few weeks ago and couldn't help but wonder if you were the tailgater next to us on top of the 'don't come knockin if the vans rockin' conversion van next to us with the 'F*ck Michigan' t-shirt on. This guy (you?) was standing on top of the van violently pointing to his t-shirt while trying to shout over the Guns 'N' Roses blasting from the speakers. What a great game as a fan to watch. I detest both teams almost equally, so it was almost like I liked both teams equally.
The best part was that I had bet on ND when it clicked to '5' that morning and also that I hate Michigan slightly more than ND, as a huge Ohio State fan. So it was easy to root, root, root for the home team (along with the people I was with-I grew up 45 miles out of SB and my friends are hard-core ND fans).
The second best part was a fist-fight between two michigan fans in our 98% ND section(they were both 'removed'). One Michigan fan didn't appreciate virtually the only other Michigan fan(they didn't know each other) in our whole section displaying his Michigan banner 'before' a field goal went through the uprights. The funny thing is that the guy complaining was a regular Al Michaels. Non-stop commentary. Master of the obvious. We were all ready to go off on his ass about the time he went nuts on ANOTHER Michigan fan who put his flag up too soon...
This is the same sort of deep-thinking that I have encountered at Columbus and Ann Arbor(more mental homes per capita than anywhere in the world) and Champaign when it comes to Michigan fans. They ain't so bright! And ohhhhhhh so annoying.
