Oregon ?2.5 vs Arizona State. Why are the Ducks favored here? Looks a lot like the question I was asking myself last week - why is BC getting points at Wake, which is why I played Wake Forest (lucky win). I though BC should have been laying 4-5

I seem to remember a thread last year where the stats/outcome was not good for ranked teams (ASU is #25) as an underdog to unranked teams?

Something to think about

ORE is favored becasue ASU still hasnt gotten any respect. They have scored 104 points in the last 2 games against Oregon and allowed 56. Walter owns Oregon period.
However, ASU has a new problem, there no. 1 running back Loren Wade is off the team, suspended indef. No. 2 Randy Hill tore his ACL on Sat, he is done.No.3 Hakim Hill is playing through a broken forearm. No.4 Cornell Canidate is out for the year. So they are in dire straights for a running back

Hakim is an above average back but I cant see him goingmore than 25 carries, that means ASU will throw even more.

This is a no play for me; ASU has no running back AT ALL; and I wont play on Walter on the road; he is terrible; everyone looks at that IOWA game like is was a big game; Iowa is not a top 50 team; big deal if you beat them; and then ASU saved walters ass again last game forcing turnovers; he coundnt hit the throw the ball in the ocean and now has no running game at all; so expect to oreg to tee off; i expect at least 3-4 ints in the game for walter; ASU defense is what people should give respect to they are pretty good will keep them in this game but Oreg should win this game by 7 or more.

Walter is just about the break John Elway's record for PAC-10 touchdown passes...and is consensus #1 ranked QB by Scouts Inc...

You probably know more than them, though.

Wouldn't you say both of those guys are good college QB's...after that it's all speculation.

BTW...nobody thought Wuerffel would be a good NFL pro...and Leaf was just a mental bust-it happens.

Walter has the size and arm strength to be a force in the NFL.

3 or 4 picks for walter? so you are predicting him to quadruple his season total in one game? don't bet on it
