whats the deal with the +160 -187. I never heard of this can some one explain this to me. I would greatly apreciate it

If you bet the favorite.....-187.......you put up 187 to win 100 and if you take the dog.......wager 100 to win 160

It's a horrible line and you should find another place to bet unless you never bet underdogs. A 20 cent differential is about the most you will see (with exception of very high favorite lines) and there are many places where you can get a 10 cent line or less.

I think he's actually wanting to know what the actual numbers(+160 & -187) mean. If my assumption is correct, then the +160 represents the underdog in the particular matchup. In other words, if you bet on the +160 team, then for every $100 dollars bet, you would receive $160 dollars in return. Bettin' $200 dollars would give you a return of $320,...etc...etc...etc... The
-187 figure represents the favorite in the particular matchup. So if you took the team represented by this number, you would have to bet $187 dollars to get a return of $100 dollars.

The spread b/t these two numbers has been explalined above...If this is indeed a particular line for a baseball game, then you need to find another place to bet b/c the 27 cent line is outrageous....
