Can either one of these clowns make a damn putt when it counts????? Duval played great until he got to 16 then must have said to himself, "Wait, you are David Duval. You are just like Phil. You dont belong here." ...then proceeded to tighten the rope around his neck and miss 2 very makeable putts.

Mickelson is just plain gutless.

...but not the final day when it really counts.

Tiger totally intimidates these guys when it comes right down to it. Tiger could stand behind Duval and Mickelson on a seashore and dare them to throw a ball into the ocean, and both of them would drop the ball at Tiger's feet on their windup.

Duval and Mickelson are great players, but they dont have what it takes to compete psychologically with Tiger when the big events roll around. I dont care much who beat Tiger in the Greater Greensboro Bumblef**k Open.

....just my opinion. We'll see if one of these guys can convince me otherwise at the US Open. If they do, then I will be the first one here to give them credit and take my foot out of my mouth.

Kotysdad,

Understand what you are saying about Duval and Mickleson but for christ sake who wouldn't be intimidated by a guy that is holding all 4 majors at the age of 25.

Consider for a moment if Tiger was not in the equation. Duval would have a major and Mickleson would be #1 in the world. It just happens that they are playing at a time when Tiger (who may well end up as the greatest sportsman of all time) is also playing.

To call these guys "clowns" and "gutless" is nothing short of a joke, and I hope one day you are made to take your foot out of your mouth !!!!

Tiger Woods has that look of a tiger when he's out there. When those cameras zoom in and you look at him,Coming in second is just not in his mind or in his vocabulary....
Maybe his next threat to him on the linx is some 10 year old hitting a golf ball in his backyard....

Hey, I hope they prove me wrong too, but I highly doubt it. I am not a big Tiger fan, so I wanna see someone step up and take this guy down a notch. It just seems to me that if someone else is going to win a major, it is not going to be because they rose to the occasion and 1-up'd Tiger. It is going to be because Tiger didnt bring his "A-game" and for that matter B-game since his B-game is better than the others A-games.

Tiger should have been beaten this weekend. But the two "houses of cards" folded in the gentle breeze as expected.

Good luck to both of them at Oklahoma in June. My hard earned money surely wont be riding on either one of them.

....and Mickelson is GUTLESS. Just go back and look at the safe, conservative wussy shot he played on the last par 3 when he desperately needed to make up ground on Tiger. He hit the fat far end of that green like he had a 4 stroke lead. Gutless.
