Missouri fans say yes, and I am from MO. Josh Harris (BGSU quarterback) is the real deal and Urban Meyer will be coaching in a major conference somewhere very soon.
N.C. State at Texas Tech (-2.5)
I like NC St. here, but TX Tech burned me last week.
USC at Kansas St. (-3)
I will be curious to see if there is any line movement here. I like USC. I think they are a good team. But Colorado was without Ochs last week and laid an egg. K-State has a legit shot to run the table in the Big 12 North. I see a low scoring affair dominated by defense and special teams. Take the home crowd and the Wildcats.
Troy St. at Iowa St. (-17.5)
I love Seneca Wallace. But I think the Cyclones might let down a bit after that big win over Iowa. Add the Nebraska game the following week and we have our classic sandwich game. The Nebraska game will be the biggest game for the Cyclone faithful in a long time (maybe ever). Thus the Cyclones sleepwalk through this one with dreams of Cornhuskers dancing in their heads.
Colorado at UCLA (no line yet)
No prediction can be made until status of Ochs is determined. With him, they have a chance to win straight up. Without him, they lose by at least two touchdowns.
Virginia Tech at Texas A&M (+3)
At first glance, this looks like a mismatch. You factor in Kyle Field and suddenly realize that the team who gets to 14 first will probably win this game. Va. Tech has the best 1-2 running tandem in the country. Texas A&M has one of the best rushing defenses in the country. Smells like a field goal battle. But, since Texas A&M is a home underdog, I am avoiding this game like the plague. Maybe a slight lean towards the Hokies due to special teams.
Any thoughts on these games???
