I've had a couple of bad calls so far this season but somehow still have a decent record...but would like to get it over 70% by the end of February...

One early play: Brown +1

I'm fairly certain that this line will move...the line is right based upon a Sagarin predictive sort of model since Cornell did a good job of finishing relatively close in games vs better teams like Syracure and Dayton...

Brown is coming off a good opening Ivy weekend with a win at Princeton and a loss at Penn where the Quakers played very tough D vs Forte but made everything that they threw toward the hoop...

Playing in Ithaca is worth a few points but Brown SHOULD win this one by double digits....

Good enough for me.....think I'll go grab it before it moves. I really hold your Ivy plays in high regard. Thanks for all your efforts.

Good Luck to All,

JC -- thanks but we'll see tomorrow night!!!

I also like Yale +3 may go higher and wouldn't be surprised if Billy Blastoff tells us to take Manhattan at PK (should be +3.5)...Princeton and Penn should win but 9 and 11 are a lot for an Ivy match-up on the road looking at a b2b...can't bring myself to take Dartmouth or Harvard however...Yale will lose Sat nite at Cornell...take the ML there...good luck...

Superbook-

Like the Brown play. No 1H lines up yet, but will probably take a stab at the Tigers if it's around -6.

Not sure about Yale/Columbia... first instinct after seeing the lines was Columbia, but after further review I can see Yale being the play. So I'll just pass.

Hey are you inside my head. My pick is Yale +3 but the Manhattan line is dead on, making it a no selection game.If you keep this up I wont have to do the work anymore

Well the line has moved but the wrong way...it's now Brown + 1.5...don't know why as Cornell barely beat Dartmouth last weekend, unquestionably the worst team in the Ivy...I just can't see Cornell upsetting a team that just beat Princeton and has the leagues best player in Jason Forte...Cornell blew out Columbia but Columbia had just a terrible game...Brown is very good at ball-control and keeping the to's down...

As posted last night, I like Yale and can't see Penn or Princeton losing but can't guarantee that they will cover...it's hard to cover 11 when you hold the ball for close to 30 on every possession...

Caper...don't know...clearly there is a bigger game on Sunday that they are more concerned about than tonite's Ivy contests...LOL...personally I think they rely heavily on their power numbers to generate lines...those numbers may be a little misleading when it comes to the Ivy...as Ivy teams tend to wait until start of league play to really turn it up...and some of the results of the early games are misleading...remember the Sunday night game with Cornell at Dayton...I had the Flyers -13.5 and Cornell was down by 20 most of the 2H before scoring a bunch in the final two minutes or something to only lose by 11...so in the eyes of Vegas, Cornell looks good because they only lost by 11 to a much better team on the road and they got the cover when in fact they were getting killed and got a lucky backdoor on a bunch of Dayton's bench players...

One more thought: Brown is a very young team...starters Junior Ruscoe and Senior Forte are the only upperclassmen...there are nine freshmen, at least one starter and several others seeing major minutes...if you're paying $30K per year to go to an Ivy school and you're not the star by your junior year you're going to quit to focus on school...young teams take a while to get going and leader pg Forte missed a couple of games due to suspension...Brown and Penn are the teams with the momentum now...

Brown playing catch up the entire 2H...I'll take the Push on Brown +1 and the win with Yale...can't believe Dartmouth actually beat Princeton SU...Penn is rolling...

I coat-tailed you sb, but my local gave me 1.5. Thanks for the winner. Rode Yale on the strength of you and BB being on it. Played my own play of Penn which my local gave me -7 on...

I love nights like this...
