I have a few I am looking at so far and would like some comments.
1. SF/ST. L. over 54- This will probably be the highest scoring game of the season in the nfl. San Fran and RAMS cand both score and the rams def is hurting. Not to mention the 49er's secondary is trash talking that the Rams recievers are soft. So I expect them to go all out on sun and prove they aren't soft.
2. Detroit+7.5 Hey they have to win a game sometime. I actually hate when people say that. Detroit is not as bad as an 0-11 team. I think Tampa Bay will be looking past this game because of the new QB who I think is really not that bad and can move the ball by passing or running it himself. Also Tampa Bay will be looking ahead with the showdown next week with my suprising bears team at Chicago.
3. SD/PHIL under38 SD offense is none existent but do have some good def players. I don't really have alot of faith in the West coast teams that go to the cold inclement weather of the East Coast. I believe that it is supposed to snow and or rain. Flutie can handle the weather but it seems to me that he lost some arm strength or something on his throws. Phil has good rush def and should keep the SD rushing down. All things point to the under to me.
4. Bears+6 This might be to much of my heart talking to me. I think the bears put more pressure on Favre and not let him pick them apart. The injury of Butler to the Packers is huge he holds the secondary together and calls out def plays. I believe that the away team has won the last 4 0r 5 games. Also the bears get A-Train back. I didn't know it but his hamstring was hurting the last game so maybe that was why he didn't have much yardage. I listened to him on some local radio sports shows and says he is close to 100% and ran full speed with cuts and everything.
5. Oakland-9 Gruden probably can't wait to play this game after losing to Ariz.(who I think is better than there record). All oakland has to do is take Priest Holmes away with 8 in the box and let Green throw int's. I think its more that K C is just plain bad.
Some other teams I am looking at but still are capping.
Dallas+3.5=Different team without Leaf fu*king everything up.
Jets/Pitt under 35=Pitt good def and jets erratic off plus most likely Bettis out to me sounds under.
