To place at Oly
Harrington 10/1
3 cuts made in 3 attempts,2 top 20's including 5th last year.
33/1 most places now and if his play continues this week these odds will be history.

AND also from Sawgrass:
"He's (Padraig) a fantastic player," said Clarke, a Northern Irishman who knows Harrington well. "He makes very, very few mistakes -- both physically and mentally. He's very, very strong mentally.

"The results this past couple of years have gone to show that. His golf swing is improving -- and all aspects of his game. You don't get to be No. 10 in the world without being a very good player."

Both Harrington and Couples make my short list of choices not so short.

And now for the bleeding obvious ... ;)

Outright play (1 unit):

Davis Love to finish in the top-four 8/1 @ Sirbet
Adding a rare ante play following Love's extremely impressive display at Sawgrass. He is generally down to 20-25/1 and will certainly not get any larger before Masters week. He is a two-time winner this season already and should have won the Honda Classic but faltered over the last nine holes against Leonard. With a very solid record of contenting at Augusta, including 2nd in 1999, this could be the year he finally wins this title. Plus, with Els and Singh recovering from injuries and Mickelson returning from the birth of his son, there could be a shortage of real challenger to Woods. However, Tiger who will find Augusta set up much more for his game than Sawgrass and he will remain the one to beat. With prohibitive odds expected for the 'w/o Woods' market, taking the place-only option.

I took Weir @ 45/1 @ Sportbet, and they've since dropped him to 10/1. Does that mean that too many are on him there?

Ouch 10-1 on Weir. Thats a bit harsh now.

Just threw some more $$ on Love III @ 30-1 at a non sponser. Was surprised to see that number. You can find Love III @ 28-1 at VIP. This is my largest Golf wager ever. I hope I didnt just jinx myself but I think he has an excellent chance to win.
