Volfan:

What do you see in the Cuse game, I was all over Cuse after the game they had @ Auburn and with homecoming, but now I am wondering if Pitt stops their running game then Cuse is done. I think Pitt has a miserable offense and Cuse should win this game, but still undecided.

MC,

I was at the SU/UNC at the Dome a few weeks ago and I thought after that game that Auburn would put it to SU but over the last few weeks I guess Coach P and his staff straightened his offense out as Troy Nunes looked very solid when he came in during the 4th quarter. RJ Anderson is flat out brutal and SU wins this game by 10 pts. if they start Nunes. That dome for home field advantage is worth 3 or 4 pts. alone. SU's defense is weak in the secondary, small corners who get outjumped for 50/50 balls. Clifton Smith is as good at they come on D for SU. Going to pound SU if it stays at or under 3.5. GL with your plays.

BIG ORANGE LAND!!
Traveling is tough in conf. play.
Bama is a good hame team with a great crowd.
Georgia's D has not played well and I think Bama (who played OU as well as anyone) can have their way with this soft d.

volfan i would like to know your reasoning behind duke+12 i am leaning the other way...duke just played a terrible navy team and whipped their ass...but that does not mean they will hang around with a VERY fast vir club.

please let me know ur reasoning

senor capper.... i have been following this forum for this year, and have really gained a much better insight on betting from the likes of yourself. im wondering about your comment about pitt's offense. rutherford has been consistently improving in every game this year....the running game hasnt been that productive...which has forced rutherford to throw the ball more, and fitzgerald has really looked good at WR. Pitt's strength is on defense, but with the offense looking better week by week, i dont think that syracuse is as easy of a play as some may think.

Anderson definately gets the start according to Coach P. To bad because Nunes definately give the Cuse a better chance to win.

Anderson has been nothing short of awful this year. Completing around 40% of passes this year, nothing downfield, has little game awareness, and is not a strong runner. Has taken a major step back so far this year.

This Syracuse team is the worst in recent memory. Running game has been stagnent, little speed outside of Riddle, OL is young and undersized, and defense front can't stop the run. LB Smith has been terrific and secondary has held their own but D spends to much time on the field.

On the good side, they have shown some heart. They still give a good effort and fight to the end. Just don't have the horses. hard to back them as a favorite.
