Three early plays this week, writeups to follow.

7-0 on posted plays last week for a solid return of +10 units. Think I may have found a couple other gems this week, but am going to wait until tomorrow.

Just an FYI, Terps star running back Bruce Perry is supposed to play this week. Hard to say how effective he'll be, but I doubt he'll get pushed around by Eastern.

I have gone back and watched the tapes of the last two Maryland games. One RB is not going to help them. They are just bad right now. Friedgen has opened up the QB job to anyone this week, meaning another week of a confused offense.

I know E.Mich is not good, but I dont see the Terps covering 5 scores against anyone right now. If they can magically turn their offense around in one week with a new QB, then I will stand corrected.

E Mich is horrible, but Maryland didn't really dominate Ohio U the way they should have (though they did cover). E Mich may be the right side here. Good luck.

Thanks hellah. I dont want to claim that EM is good in any way, but Maryland is not the team they were last year! I dont think the books have caught up to that yet. Last years one loss team, MAYBE they cover 5 scores. But this team? I dont think so. I just dont see say them getting up by 6 scores before the 4th quarter and then not allowing the backdoor cover.

Utah is a team that can certainly hang tough with this Michigan bunch. Will Michigan be hungry this week at home? Sure. But I think "hungry" is vastly overrated in football. Michigan is 0-2 ATS at home and 0-3 ATS overall, while Utah is 4-1 ATS their last 5 and by all rights should have at least tied that game last week at Arizona. They caught the TD pass in bounds only the ref (an AZ alum) ruled he was out. Hogwash. This Utah team lacks their star running back, but they should easily be able to cover the 10 here, and with Utahs amazing team defense (Top 20 in most college rankings), I even think there is a slight chance of an outright upset.
