Liken the Marlins +115 over the Mets for *2 stars and also the 5-innning line for *3 stars (which should be even at worst). Saw Joe Johnson last time out and he was close to unhittable...95 MPH fast balls with movement, 93 MPH sliders moving a foot..decent change...he sure looked like the real deal to me...Santana also top notch but he's much more of a finesse pitcher who can and does make an occassional mistake with his changeup..Marlins can hit with the Mets..there's no edge there..so there's no edge there..like the 5 inning bet as I wouldn't be surprised if the Mets scored 0 runs on Johnson for 5..could see a 2-0 type of score after 5The 9 inning bet is good too although the Mets have the better pen this year and could get the Marlins relievers..Johnson will probably just go 6-7 and then it's a bit of a crapshoot..I'll say the Marlins hang on for a 5-4 win with most of the scoring coming late.

Like Mariners over the As for *2 stars...Bedard is still solid in spite of his bad first outing...he was one of the ALs finest two years ago..has he slipped that much that he's an underdog to a somewhat unheard starter for the As?...Mariners look like a solid club this year at the plate so far this year...I'll take my chances on a proven vet who use to be excellent over an unknown..Seattle 6 As 2.

Like the Os +105 for *1 star over the Rays..Os have come out of the gate strong..excellent lineup up and down..Shields is solid but not dominant/unhittable...Eaton can be good or terrible...regardless, think the Os get to Shields and will score enough even if Eaton gets hit...Os 7 Rays 4.

Season Totals 0-1 $ -210
*3 stars 0-0
*2 stars 0-1
*3 stars 0-0

Scoring System (all bets are increments of $100):
*3 stars- High confidence in fav or great value in dog (i.e,. worth the risk) or very confident in over/under
*2 stars-Medium Confidence in fav or good value in dog or medium confidence in over/under
*1 star- Average confidence in either fav or dog or over/under and worth playing (more than a lean)

Add Royals +120, Rangers +105 and up the Os to *2stars

Add Royals +120, Rangers +105 and up the Os to *2stars

Like the Royals for * 2stars over the Yanks...Meche is the Royals ace and he can have his moments..not sold on Chamberlin..still looks like a 2-3 inning pitcher if you ask me..Yanks lineup not as dominant as years past so think Meche can hold the yanks down for 6-7..Royals not a great hitting team but they have a few who can get to Chamberlin..like the home dog not to get swept..Royals 5-Yanrk 3

LIke the Rangers +105 over the Tigers for 2stars ..Edwin Jackson is still kind of an all or none flamethrower..Rangers can hit the hard stuff and that's pretty much what this guy throws..Milwood looked great first time out..not a huge fan of Millwood but he can spin the ball with the best..Rangers get this on Rangers 8 Tigers 5

Bump the Os play up to 2 stars..live home dog at +$130..too good not to take..Shields is good as I said but it's not like he has unhittable stuff..and the Os are sure hitting the ball with an excellent lineup..

Add Royalls 5 inning play over Yanks

Add Royalls 5 inning play over Yanks

Not sure the 5-inning line but I'll assume even at worst...for *2 stars...Meche has great stuff and if he's around the corners can shut the yanks down..of course, that's a big if...but I like the odds of him pitching well over Chamberline pitching well...Chamberlin strikes me as a setup guy not a starter..he seems to labor on the hill and that's not good for a starter..kind of wild, slow between pitches, just not crisp at all...he's got kind of a straight fast ball as well...very hittable...I think he gets knocked around today and maybe doesn't even go 5.. Meche will give a few but not as much as Chamberlin...5 inning score Royals 5 Yanks 2...I'll assume a +110 line for the Royals

Add some nice parlays

Add some nice parlays

KC/Florida 2-team parlay 1/2* star pays 4.25 to 1...like both starters

Fl/Os 2-team parlay 1/2 star pays 4.50 to 1 --think Os get to shields

Fl/Os/KC 3-team parlay 1/4 star pays 10 to 1-.why not?

Mariners/Florida 2-team parlay 1/2 star pays 5 to 1-just liken the starters

ARL- KC +$220..1/4 star think KC gets lots early and this one is never close..great odds
ARL Marlins +$210...1/4 start this Marlin club is good..their starter a stud...think Mets don't get too many..worht a gander.
