electric furnace seems to work fine till the cycle stops then make loud banging sounds ??? just started thanks...........

Saw something similar in a house once. Could be duct work expanding then contracting when it cools off. Try being near the furnace and see if you can pinpoint the noise.

think blower just blew ... will heat but not blowing heat thru ducts....

I'm just suggesting the things I would do.

check circuit breaker first.

Then check blower fan. Turn heat off then switch thermostat from auto to fan.

yes done that ... but i can smell something fried ... sure it blower motor :facepalm: thanks morris :0008
