Saturday: 2-1 +$1,370
Tourney: 40-33 +$4,920
Last 2 games of the weekend, and I THINK these should be better than yesterdays (Nova game was almost unwatchable, and Duke breezed through). Small conundrum today for me: I have a Miami future pending (100/2500) to win the Midwest...do I hedge? Or do I double down?...decisions, decisions....
Miami +5.5 550/500
Miami ML 100/225
Miami 1st half +3 330/300
Miami ML 1st half 100/152
I've made my bed...and now I'm gonna sleep in it! The love affair with the U this year is not over for me, and I LOVE this matchup. I've said my peace on how much I don't like Kansas this year, and similar to my love for the U, I'm not going to buck that trend now, either. Idk how many times I've said this the past 10 days, but college is a GUARDS game, still, and Miami has a trio that MAY BE the best left in the tournament. You're never gonna see a #10 seed be favored over a #1 seed, but the U should be feeling some disrespect to be a dog by this much. Get that champagne ready...Jimmy Larranaga is heading back to the Final4! Canes, 70-66.
********although I'm heavily favoring the U, I WILL BE making a LARGE ML bet on Kansas at some point throughout the game as a hedge. Right now---the ML is -270 (yesterday it was -260 at -6 and now the ML has gone up even though the line has gone down, WTF?). I'll throw out the play when it's made, but I'm obviously hoping/anticipating that the U is winning and the ML drops considerably********
Peter's +8.5 330/300
I don't think the Peacocks are going to derail a potential UNC v Duke final4 matchup, but I DO THINK they will cover. You could argue that these 2 teams are playing the best ball of anyone that's left (OK, Duke and Nova may have something to say about that). The 'stache (pornstar---Doug "Dirt McGirt" Eddert) should keep this one entertaining the whole way with a handful of 3s (actually REALLY like the over in this one, too), but UNC will prove to be too much too handle and get the W, 78-71!
Side note: anyone see that commercial discussing the best shade of blue with Vince Carter, D. Booker, Laettner, and Sue Bird? Well, we already have 2 shades through (Duke/Nova) and both of these teams (UNC/Peters) have a shade of blue....which leaves Kansas to carry that ALL BLUE shade through (FML, I guess my U bet is screwed!).
GL All---let's make this Sunday Funday a GREEN $$$$$ One~!
