first off sold my position in SBC, as on Thursday it broke through my stop loss, FCC has made another ruling (split decission) which may see more regulation not less. SBC still has a strong balance sheet but for now will wait to see how the stock acts.

taking the money and buying more Telus bonds. The bonds had a good return last year, started buying them at 72 now they are trading at par. counting interest over a 35% return. the bonds should not go up much but will buy them for a good yield. Telus will not go broke, and are cutting costs.

BCE and Telus bonds are my two holdings among telephone companies. May buy some telus shares and write covered calls as the premiums are high. along with a decent yield. Telus is higher risk than BCE which counting div, hopefully returns 10% this year.

Encana came in with good numbers for the quarter.

Cash flow per share (CFPS) $3.08 works out to $2.70 CFPS after a one time $157 million tax gain.

EPS came in at .88 cdn.

64% of production was natural gas, with overall production of oil/gas growing at 5%-10% this year and next.

2003 CFPS $10.46 estimate

Encana is a well run company that is trading at $48.10 cdn, still cannot believe why it is not over $50. bought Encana in the low 40s believing if oil were to trade over $28 and strong natural gas prices (natural gas strong demand, harder to find large gas field in North America, higher prices/strong), Oil, gas have done better than I thought as the stock is not close to $55cdn. $60 target.

even with a drop in prices Encana should be able in hit $10 CFPS, a good senior with large exposurse in natural gas. Will not sell until it rises another 15%.

will have more updates on juniors mentioned here before, all trade TSX Rider, KVL. KVL is trading below NAV will/should have high production growth......3X CFPS and who cares.....

Compton.
