Now yes, if you know anything about tennis that was a horrible call, unless it is fragrent you do not call a foot fault on 2nd serve at that point in match. And for what it is worth I thought I heard her say "I'll kill you", but don't know for sure.

Props to Brian Early head ref for giving Serena a point penalty. Way to go Early, way too many refs bow down to the sisters.


Now watch the scumbag sisters pull out of the doubles and their wacko dad turning this into a racial incident.

I lost some good money on Serena tonight....but I don't like her or her family, so I can find solace in that.
She definitely did not foot fault...but she definitely did derseve to be docked the point (and the match) for verbally abusing the lineswoman. However, they should have a rule where you can review foot faults.
Regardless, Clijsters was by far the better player tonight and most likely was going o win the match anyway.

Anyway, YES, I did lose my bet (it was already graded) even though it was played on a different day. I guess those are standard tennis wagering rules.

A default is when your opponent wins the match by not playing one point. Meaning you pulled out before you stepped on the court.

And for what it worth, Serena was just given a point penalty nothing more.

Then depending on ITF, ATP, or WTA rules it is set, then match, or match.

Well you never heard her threaten to kill her but she did have a 2nd blowup at her as well.

In this blowup and this video she threatens to shove the ball down her f'in throat so is it that far fetched that she threatened to kill her.

Also did you notice when Serena was questioning that she said I would kill you that somebody over by where the judge was sitting yelled out YES YOU DID.

Either way,what she said and was heard was more than grounds for a point.

The one lady that came up to speak with Serena seemed like she wanted to get close and kind of cover her mouth so only Serena could hear her. You think she was telling Serena that it's all on tape so chill. It's almost like Serena thought that she could deny it and nobody would know any different.
