Pawaqatsi you may be right !

However given the fact that Bangladesh have failed to pass 180 in 10 of their last 20 completed innings, England would only have to score around 350 to make this a 50:50 bet. Bangladesh have socred less than 220 in 14 of those 20 innings so an England score of around 400 would have a 70% chance of winning the bet. Given that England have passed 400 comfortably in 5 of their 7 first innings against Zimbabwe and South Africa this summer (both who have better bowling attacks than Bangledesh) this would appear a fair bet.

If the weather holds fair for the best part of three days and England don't have YET another one of those batting colapses, then I look for England to bat all of the third day and part of day 4 with a final innings total around 500 giving us a comfortable winning bet.

I will know my fate by lunch on day 3. Another 90+ runs for the loss of one wicket will do and I will be confident of another winning play on cricket.

Good luck alb, I am glad you played along.

Well what can one say but sorry to those who followed me. What looked a promising situation was once again scuppered by one of those now all to accustomed English batting collapses.:cursin:

I would never had believed it had I not watched it myself! Luckily, I played an under 470 to ease some of the pain.
