English Premier League Picks

This weekend sees a full round of 10 matches being played in the English Premier League and we?re going to look at the biggest and best games of the weekend providing our top picks.

Manchester United vs. Aston Villa
The biggest game of the weekend is the first one, when Aston Villa host Manchester United at Villa Park in the early Saturday game. Villa seem to be finding their scoring boots again after going three games without scoring in the league, while United are looking to improve on an away record that has seen them record just a single away victory in the Premier League. Having said that, United are unbeaten all season long and will be tough to top in this one. After breaking the matchups down, we are leaning towards a win for Alex Ferguson?s men.
We recommend betting on Man U to beat Aston Villa. Sportsbooks have the line at 1.62.

Sunderland vs. Chelsea
The next game we?re looking at is the match at Stamford Bridge that sees Chelsea entertain Sunderland. Chelsea won this fixture 7-2 last season and they have won all of the last five meetings between the two sides at the Bridge. Also, they have won their last 11 games at home and have not conceded a goal in any of the last nine.
Sunderland, on the other hand, have not won away from home this season (their last away win came against Hull City in April last season). We?re expecting a Chelsea win of course, but there is no value in playing the side. But we do like this one to produce some goals for the home side facing a Sunderland team that look lost away from the Stadium of Light.
Back Chelsea over 2.5 goals @ 1.49.

Liverpool vs. Stoke City
The next, and final, match that we are looking at is the Stoke City v Liverpool game at the Britannia Stadium. Liverpool were floundering around the relegation zone for a while at the start of the season, but they are unbeaten in their last six games in both Premier League and Europa League and are starting to play some decent football again, aided by Fernando Torres finding his scoring boots.
Stoke have gone from bad to good and back to bad again this season. They stopped the rot again by beating Birmingham City on Tuesday night, but Liverpool have a confidence about them now and we can see both teams being satisfied with a point in this one.
We suggest backing the draw @ 2.95 with SportsBetting.com.

Enjoy the games this weekend!
