Its the opening day of the English Premier League. I have made a profit in the past 2 seasons and hope that I can provide everyone with some picks in which to do the same again this season.

Opening Day Plays:
Blackburn d Sunderland 1.80
Charlton draw Chelsea 3.25
Fulham d Bolton 1.90
Middlesborough d Southampton 3.00

Day 1 turned from bad to OK to bad again in five minutes. Fulham were on the way to victory and Blackburn and Middlesborough were both playing out 0-0 draws and the game that was to save me was Charlton drawing with Chelsea. Charlton led 2-0 in the first half but when a player was sent off Chelsea were always a chance to draw the game. By half time it was 2-1 and I felt confident Chlsea could score again and level the game. It took a long time but with only few minutes to go the goal came and I was going to have a breakeven day. Then with hardly anytime left Chelsea scored anothe goal to win the game 3-2.
