Whether it be a singer/songwriter, comedian, actor, or even a politician from years gone by, who do you wish was around today so you could hear their take on the current state of affairs in our country.

For me it would be:

1. George Carlin
2. Warren Zevon
3. John Lennon

I firmly believe the above were geniuses and expressed themselves through their talent better than nearly anyone.

Imagine (no pun intended) the songs Lennon would be writing today. I always found Zevon's acceptance of the inevitable fascinating and would like to hear his thoughts circa 2018. Carlin may have been one of the most intelligent people to ever live and while it was impossible to agree with everything he ever said, I bet he would have some interesting thoughts on the world today.

Above the Clouds....
Jim Morrison.
With our a doubt one of the greatest. Imagine the songs that would be classics if he hadn't have joined the 27 club.

Read it years ago.....Howard was great, but became too bitter at the end. I'd love to see him interview some of today's athletes and politicians.

Not an entertainer but I would absolutely love to have dinner with Benjamin Franklin and listen to what he has to say about the world now.
