Now call me crazy, but for anyone who saw the first fight, we all know espadas killed morales. Morales was GIVEN the desision because it was a set up fight for the Morales Barrera fight. I even believe Espadas broke compubox record for amount of punches thrown for the entire fight. Now, last few fights, morales hasnt really impressed me all that much. Can anyone tell me why I shouldnt lay some wood on Espadas especially @ + 800???? Seems awfully high for an dog who already kicked his keester.

try and discourage anyone from taking what they consider a live dog at 8-1........and i thoroughly agree that espadas got robbed in fight one....
but,the point you made about morales getting the decision to set up the second morales-barrera match may be the reason behind morales` poor showing.....my guess is that morales may have had his mind on barrera......
that said,morales has not looked sharp,imo,in quite awhile.....i mean vs top competition..........not the bobby boy velardez` and the eddie croft`s........but,espadas hasn`t exactly torn it up since the morales fight,either......
but,to stay on point,i wouldn`t blame you for taking the shot.....my guess is that morales shows much better this time.....but,the tall espadas may just be a difficult style for morales.....at these lighter weights,morales doesn`t fight many guys almost 2 inches taller than himself......espadas fights to quite a few close decisions...

As I said in another thread, I expect a much better
showing from Morales in this fight as he will not be
starving himself to make weight. But I agree that
Guty gave him all he could handle in the first one
and styles make fights so the upset is possible.
5DIMES has Guty at +1000, try to stay away from Oly's
stingy lines as much as possible. If you must play there
I recommend Guty by decision at +1450 as I don't see
Morales getting knocked out.

thanks for the advice. You both have very valid points, but i figure @ +800 I have a better shot of winning than laying that unit on my chargers this week. Thanks for the imput guys and GL this week
really interesting about the sauna, but i thought the last barrera fight was his last fight @ that weight division. If it is true that he starved himself, he may findhimself in a big bowl of turd. Thanks for the info and GL to All

Morrales has been starving himself to make 126 but
he is now fighting at 130. If he is struggling to make
that weight there is definitely something wrong here.
