I play it just about everyday, have only had one 99.9 and finished 65th for the day. I did have a friend who finished 2nd once but don't know anyone who has won.

wow!!! 2nd place, thats great, but must be upsetting, considering the chances of getting that high.
it's a free contest that espn runs. you register with espn at no cost, then each day you go to the espn site and click on 3play. it will give you 3 athletes scheduled to play in a game that day. next to each athlete will be different stats and certain points awarded for reaching each one. if you get the most points for the day you win the pool. " hey, it's money"

This past winter I was playing on a daily basis....... haven't in about two months.
Twice I was in the 99.9%, with a best finish of 14th.
I don't know of anyone who has won it...... but ya never know.
