Espn said Mayweather was denied a $ 400,000 wager on the under 9 1/2 rounds for his fight vs. McGregor.......It was at The "M" sportsbook..........
and then he tried to bet on himself ....looks like they "M" wasn't too keen on that either...
But the story goes on to say his cronies go 76,000 down somewhere...

I dont see a problem with a boxer trying to get a bet down on himself, as long as he isn't wagering on a specific outcome, like by KO or decision. If I were mayweather, I'd have tried to bet on myself too!

If you are just betting on yourself to win an individual event, regardless of how it is achieved, it doesn't really make a difference.
