already like best breakthrough Danica Patrick +500, seems like real good value, it will probably end up going down. also like manning as best nfl player at -125, brady is the only other legitimate contender at +250. anyone have any other thoughts?
Some that I like are:
Best Moment: Reggie Miller Final Game +500
The media did everything short of calling for Reggie to be immediatley elected in the Hall of Fame. Against a horse race and Tiger losing a 3 shot lead on the final day of the Masters, only to win in a 1st hole playoff, I'll take Miller at 5/1.
Best Record Breaking Performance: Peyton Manning +250
49 TDS last year was all anybody talked about. The Pats are overwhelming favorites because of their 21 game win streak but again, 49 TDS was all anybody could talk about, despite NE winning a third Super Bowl.
Best Sports Movie: Million Dollar Baby -350
Although the price is steep, this movie won an Oscar. That alone should sew up the ESPY.
Best Breakthrough: Ben Roethlisberger +500
Danica Patrick, who has done nothing but be a good-looking female race car driver is priced right at +650. But Big Ben, who won 14 straight games as a rookie and led his team one win from the Super Bowl, is a great bargain at 5/1. Sharapova is the only person on this list who has won a major title in their respective sport and would be worth a few units at even money.
Best Coach: Bill Belicheck -250
Again, another high price but also another slam dunk. Three super bowls in four seasons speaks for itself. These other guys, save Carroll, are not on the same level as Belicheck. But Carroll won in college, while Belicheck has owned the NFL the last few seasons.
