Round 1 play (2pts):

Raphael Jacquelin to beat Niclas Fasth -111 @ Unibet
Opposing Fasth who is both slow out of the blocks - he has broken 70 in the first round just once on the European Tour this year - and is rusty on this course - he shot 79-71 on his first appearance last year since 2000 and course experience is so important on this mountainous course

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Outrights:

Paul Broadhurst(50/1) e.w.
Eduardo Romero(45/1) e.w.
Michael Campbell(22/1) e.w.
Ariel Canete(200/1) e.w.
- - A really nice event for capping and enjoying. Course management, precise short irons, skill and imagination around the edges of the small saucer greens, figuring out the mountain breaks, and I guess an excellent Argentine steak house, all help explain the value placed on experience and course form in my approach.

Nice start by Rory :scared
Had a feeling he would play well this week, after reading this quote from him.
"I've just got to stay patient. I'm hitting it as well as I have all year and if I keep improving like I am I know that in six years' time I'm going to be a pretty good player."

Interesting take on the course Lost. I noticed they have 3 par 4's in a row all under 340 yards. :0corn The course measures under 6900 yards, which is unheard of now a days. It is a beautiful setting with the mountains in the background.

Round 2 plays (2pts):

Alejandro Canizares to beat Robert Dinwiddie -122 @ Unibet
There may be a bounceback tomorrow after Canizares beat Dinwiddie by 10 shots in the 1st round, but the Spaniard was one of the best in the field from tee-to-green and if Dinwiddie doesn't start off by shooting a lot of birdies to give himself a chance of making the cut, this should be straightforward

Eduardo Romero to beat Brett Rumford +101 @ Unibet
By contrast I'm expecting a bounceback in this match as Romero lost by four shots to Rumford today. The difference was just two double-bogeys in the last seven holes by the Argentinean and the track specialist should do much better second time around
