Europeans in US airports trying to go home

One of the worst things about traveling is US Customs and Immigration. I will say they are making it a little faster by having the kiosks open.
Wait a minute if that a customs and immigration line then those people are coming into the country not leaving.
That's what the article said. I can't find it now. Doesn't matter. Total ridiculousness.

I went through customs at ATL ~ 9pm last night and it was probably the quickest I've ever gotten through. I wonder if this is just an O'Hare issue?
Was there any screening at all? Where were you returning from? Maybe that makes a difference?
We went through Atlanta too about 2 weeks ago and and they had all the kiosks open it sure made it quicker.
