These guys are playing some solid ball now...don't look at their overall record...look at how many close games these guys have lost..I have watched them their last two games..they are shooting the rock very well...I think they win outright tonight.

Wilson,

I have looked at the evansville game very closely and at 4.5 they seem to be a solid play. They have have won 9 of the last 10, including 8 in a row. Also, ni seems to really be on the skids. +165 on the ml looks very appetizing. However, I may take the points. Will decide closer to game time.

this is a partial of the reply I posted on doc's thread. Wanted to make sure as many people saw it as possible. Feel very strongly now about this one after further investigation:

Looking at the season stats, UNI is clearly better. Looking at the last 5 games, things tend to even out. Teams have shot well against Evansville all year. in UNI's last 5, they have a fg% defense of 50.6%. In the 2 games against Evansville they were outrebounded 37-63! Rebounding isn't something that usually comes and goes like shooting. Evansville's 6-11 center presents horrible match-up problems for the undersized UNI.

For UNI to win, they have to win the turnover battle. (Which they are quite capable of doing). And hold down the Aces shooting % (which they haven't been able to do lately).

These are two teams going in different directions. Playing Evansville.

Funny thing about this...I have posted about (I'm too drunk to figure out) 12-14 straight winners ...But, trust me..I play more than that.

shot 11-22 from behind the arc, it was a tough loss for me, but kudos to evansville, they played much better than their record indicated. They were out rebounded by NI by 13, as long as they can keep shooting that well then they can certainly stay withng the #., if not their fortune will turn. Nice call:p
