Slugger Labbe formely M. Waltrip crew chief is now with evernham overseeing their plate track cars.

I guess we will see if DEI really does have a little secret for these plate cars.

I'm ready too! We need some more cappers for NASCAR. I have made my best money in NASCAR. Just not last year, my first losing year in 5 seasons.

He should definately help Evernham on the speedway tracks. Word is that everham's group were already were putting numbers up in horsepower like the DEI engines on the plate races. Slugger understands and knows all the drag numbers from the wind tunnels from Waltrips Bodies and should point out very quickly what they need to do to the front ends to get those numbers right. But its still gonna be hard to bet Against JR everyone loves to draft with him and his car will be up front from the start. I look for Joe Gibbs engine department to step it up in the plate races this year also, Tony always handles well but JR kills him on the chute without drafting help.

Well Gordon was fastest in testing this week. The 19 was quick as well. Teams usually do a little sandbagging at these early tests though.

If there ever was a team " due" it's that #9 KK , I think Kasey will get that first win within the first few races of the '05 season, but hopefully not at Daytona... I'm a die- hard Jr. fan & nothing will ever change that, but I have the utmost respect for all the driver's .... not saying I like all them but anyone that can drive at speed's these guy's do is unreal....they have got to have BIG BALL'S :scared I attend both race's at Talladega & am hoping to get to Atlanta this year but any U Madjacker's out there who has'nt been to 'DEGA believe me U would be in for a treat... :mj14: :toast: :weed: biggest party you'll ever attend..... I've been going since the early '70's & it just ain't nothing like it.... especially when that # 8 Chevy roll's into victory lane!! :hail :toast: hope to see ya'll there!!
