Can someone please explain how pittsburgh san jose over under is 5.5 and the over is +115? Seems like the over is the play here but maybe I am missing something?:shrug:

I got it at +120. I think there could be alot of goals scored with 2 very high powered offenses(even though Pittsburgh has struggled at times.)

Under is the play here IMO. Both teams are top 10 in goals against. PIT are 22nd in goals for. PIT have had 2 games go over and 7 under. San Jose is 4 overs/4 unders.
Under is 4-0 in Penguins last 4 overall.
Under is 6-1-1 in Penguins last 8 games playing on 2 days rest.
Under is 6-1-3 in Penguins last 10 vs. Western Conference.
Under is 4-1-1 in Penguins last 6 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game.
Under is 6-2-2 in Penguins last 10 vs. a team with a winning record.
Under is 12-4 in Penguins last 16 road games.

My play was more or less a big time gut feeling play. Everything from what I've seen from both teams and their styles makes me think GOALS! So hopefully we can cash it. Lets cash it jdub!
I agree with CM here on the Under. That being said one of the things when capping a total I look at is where the money is at. The Pens/Sharks O/U is 5.5 with 81% of the money is on the over and it's +120. ?? That should throw up some flags. The other game that was like that today was the Lightning/Leafs game. O/U at 5.5 with 86% on the Over at +105 seems like such a bargain, but it wasn't because it was a loser. This of course is not a guarantee, but it is something I follow in all the sports I cap. It also is holding true on the Marshall game tonight. 72% of the money was on Houston -8 and the line dropped to 7 buy game time. Why? If all those people on Houston liked them -8, they will love -7. Sorry to rant but just wanted to say this. Again this is just one of many things to look at. -Koz :SIB

I didn't play the late game but I did play the Leafs under and Marshall +7. When I first started sports betting and would call the local guy and expect to get a line of lets say Marshall +8 and he told me it's only Marshall +7 I would pass because I thought I was getting screwed. But after watching Vegas and line movements I realize when my local moves the line in a certain direction, 9 times out of 10 he has moved it in the right way.
