"the bunker"
if you`d kicked the field goal last time you were inside the 10,you could have kicked another here and been down by one score and a 2 pt conversion....

theres a whole quarter left....

f-cking moron...

I was thinking the same thing. 2 easy FG's they passed up - and then they'd still be in the game....

Not sure what he was thinking - must have been in the "can't kick field goals against the Colts" thought process

i can see it if there 4 or 5 minutes left....but theres a whole quarter...

your team works it`s ass of to give itself a chance and you force them to try and convert a low percentage soring opportunity...

time and again....with a quarter left...

put points on the board...he crushed his own team`s momentum...

stop panicking and act like a pro!...

I'll tell ya, the last few weeks i have seen some very bad play calling and coaching. You can handicap games, but cant take into account the coaching will be piss poor.

This game and the little i have watched of TB, man this is some bad coaching.

Ohio but not a Buckeye
2 missed FGs, 4 int's in bucs game

Tampa has had it in the redzone 5 times, first and goal INSIDE THE 5 YARD LINE 4 of those 5 times.

Somehow only 6 points. They not only should be winning, but BLOWOUT.

Carolina backers should go play the lottery. I've never seen a team outplayed so bad and winning.

I really question the football iq of the titan team. T brown shows total stupidity trying to be a tough guy at end of first half cost his team a field goal and momentum.

to clarify and defend fisher

it was 4th and goal from the 1.5...not that bad a decision to go for it....a terrible play call.

but

to say they would have gotten 2 fg's is bs.....the only reason they were in position on the next drive is because indy started on their own 1.5 and went 3 and out and punted back to tenn who took over on the indy 40 or so.....had they kicked the initial fg, indy would have likely started on thier own 30ish after a kickoff.....

and if my aunt had coulumes, she` d be my uncle..

you`re wrong(imo)...with a full qtr left,you have to take the points......if you`re smart...

two opportunities and they came up with...guess what?.....zilch...

with a full quarter of a game to be played, you take points...play the percentages...

i stand by what actually happened

well what happened is that because they went for a td and failed, they got the ball back 3 plays later on the indy 40.......

you cant say that if they kicked it the first time, they would have had another easy chance at a fg because the field position wouldnt have been the same.

i agree they should have kicked it, but its wrong to say that 60 seconds later they would have had the ball after a 4 and out, indy punt with the ball at the indy 40.......that field position was a direct result of going for it.

c`mon gjn...if you`d turned left instead of right,you`d be j. paul getty...

can i prove that beyond a doubt?......no...

but,i`m living in the real world on this one......

if the titans had converted just "one" of the two field goal opportunities they passed on,the onside kick they recovered at the end of the game may have actually meant something... as it turned out,the onside kick was an anti-climax,,,,they were down by 10 at the time....

you can argue the theoretical...that`s fine...

my opinion is that fisher passed on 6 points that we know of...and because of that,he hampered his team`s chances of a comeback....

sorry, but, that my opinion...you`re entitled to your supposition....

the point is, he passed on 3 points NOT 6

the second 3 he passed on was BECAUSE of the original 3 he passed on

i think you're getting into what if's.........what if he took the first 3.....well, it's an 11 point game with 17 mins left......maybe indy runs the kick back, maybe indy drives for a td or fg, maybe indy punts.....one thing indy DOESNT do is start that next drive on their 1 yard line.

again, i would have kicked it.....but as the commentator said you arent beating the colts with fg's (and they were on the 1.5 yard line so it wasnt that bad of a call to go for it......if anything, they fuked up the play-call and previous few plays....fumbled snap on 1st down from the 1, holding on 2nd down, inc on 2nd down, scramble for 9 on 3rf down when young trips over the carpet)

fair enough...

we can agree to disagree...i think it was a bad move...and was compounded by a second bad decision...
