It's a great tool to keep up on local events, family, friends......I'm not a fan of Texting when I have a question, 90% of the time it's a quick message to a friend on Facebook......

Business wise it's great free advertising, easy to keep up with trends, customers needs and concerns....2016, 1.8 BILLION active members, it may not be for all but it does serve a purpose for many......:0008

I am not a fan of it either but happy it works for you. I remember you and hedgey and kneifl were all friends on there together. Is that still the case? I picture kneifl being stuck behind the barrier link fence, and hedgy being Emma in the video when he was adding and cutting his friends all the time, depending if he liked you a certain day or not. :mj07:

This afternoon a past High School Classmate of my daughters (20yo) posted a suicide note on Facebook.....Within mins another past Classmate called 911 and my daughter contacted his mom to make her aware.....Police and EMS were on scene within a matter of mins and his mom soon after.....The young man had taken a bottle of pills, without the quick action to call 911 he would have succeeded.....


Facebook just gave this young man a second chance at life......:0074

That's good stuff right there...I am not on it, but my wife has her own business and it is wonderful for her.

Yes very sad.....Many friends posted messages to FB with support to their Classmate with what he was dealing with within a few mins, one made the snap decision to call 911 and post soon after that he did.... Many were freaking out not knowing what to do......His call ended up saving his former Classmates life.....

I sent him a message this afternoon thanking him for being proactive and making the call......His replay "I had to, I couldn't live with myself if he actually did kill himself and I did nothing".......Deep shit......The mom reached out later this afternoon thanking all for saving her son......Very overwhelming afternoon.....

I'm still processing it all, we've had a couple of young suicides in the area of late.....So much youth are dealing with now that we (parents) never experienced......Tough being a kid now, even tougher being a parent..... :0008

Sports unfriended me for what reason I have no clue, he and I do not get along so I am fine with it. Yes, I have unfriended many people over the years, not recently, in fact I have tried to mend fences with people I have upset for one reason or another.

I am probably friends with 25 people from here on facebook :shrug: I like it unlike some of you here, keeps me in touch with people from my past and my family that live out of town, etc.
