Falcons question for Scott-Atlanta

what's your take on the Falcons -4 2nite?

the fans are pumped up for this game even though its preseason. Hip-hop star Ludacris is a Falcons fan, and he's put together a song called "Atlanta Stand Up" that will be played when the Falcons take the field tonight.

Feist site sez that Vick will play into the 2nd quarter. Atl paper says that some defensive starters will go in to the second half. Doug Johnson may play into the 4th quarter.

Farve will only a a series or 2. Most QB time will go to bench warmers Craig Nall and Akili Smith who will split time in the 2nd Q and the second half.

Looks to me like Atlanta wants to get a win in front of the home crowd. I think this could be a mismatch with the projected QB rotations.

I am not playing pre-season games I am watching and learning for the regular season.

Early in the week I was leaning towards GB to win in a revenge factor from the playoff game last year.

But now on game day I would have to say Falcons should cover this game.

Vick is going to play into second quarter. He will try hard to score while he is in there for the home crowd. Duckett is a tank and should play alot.

** When Doug Johnson comes in they have the best QB in waiting in the NFL. Johnson is a excellant passer and very smart player. Johnson will go into the fourth quarter possibly. Kittna will play in the fourth Qtr. He is not ready but has shown himself very well in camp. I am very high on this Johnson guy as he has matured over the last two years. He won the game last year against the NY Giants as a starter when Vick got hurt.

Jay Feely placekicker will kick some field goals if the Falcons get within 40 yds. This guy can kick !

GB sucks in domes as someone in another thread said.

GB looked horrible in the first game.

Falcons have some secondary players they got from GB who will be trying to show the old team what they are missing.

Again I am not playing pre-season but I would take the Falcons in this game. Too much hype for Falcons to drop this game.

I was wondering if the Packers will play their young guys a lot tonight. Their last game was cancelled in the mid-3rd quarter because of bad weather. The young guys that normally mop up late in games didn't get in.

Will they play more tonight?

fyi...Atlanta Dan Reeves 11-2 ATS preseason last 3 years as Atlanta's coach.

in pre-season they have to play the young guys alot otherwise they can't find out who to cut.

The question is who's young guys are better ? I would say Falcons but I have only watched them and not GB.

I really dislike Dan Reeves as a coach. He makes bad decisions as far as I am concerned. They could do better but maybe after this year he will be gone.
