Take Iowa State to the bank this weekend. . . absolutely love the value playing the ML on this one. . . Wallace for ISU will be the difference in the 2nd half.
Now regarding UA/Utah. . .
Everyone on here knows by now that I'm a UA grad and yes I am a little biased. Sure I think they can beat Utah, but there's a very good reason (besides the fact that I "think" Arizona can win) to play Arizona this weekend.
Take a look at all non conference games the previous few years and you'll see that Arizona has been very successful BEFORE Pac 10 play. The game everyone remembers of course is their absolute embarassment at Penn State a few years ago. . .
But take a look at last season and one game appears to look very close to the game coming this weekend when Arizona opened the season at San Diego State. SDSU was built up as being a VERY good team (similar to Utah) that should be able to handle the Cats. . . Arizona 23 SDSU 10. UNLV was the same story but the Cats came up the victors 38 to 21 in perhaps the best game the Cats played all season (maybe an exception when they won at ASU last season, but they looked much better in the UNLV game IMO). Will the Cats fair well in the Pac 10? Honestly, I doubt it. . . but there's always hope. However, they have had success before the Pac 10 season begins and always get the fans into believing they are going to be a great team THIS season and in the Pac 10. . . I see about the same result. . . maybe a couple unexpected wins in the Pac, but they should fall flat after a promising start against Utah and maybe even Wisconsin. Arizona's superior skill players and coaching will prevail against Utah.
I see a nice two team dog ML parlay:
Iowa State and Arizona
