Balls Deep
Hey fellas, I was hoping to get some fantasy feedback. I?m in the finals of a 12 person league and could use some help for my final game. This is my first year really getting into fantasy so I'm still a rookie.

QB:
I?ll most likely go with vick, as carolina?s D has been terrible lately. My only hesitation is that he has that groin pull. He?s been upgraded to probably but I?m afraid his running game is going to suffer. If he can?t move the ball with his legs and teams sit in coverage, he?s not the best passer.

As alternatives, I have Matt Leinart at SF and I just picked up Jay Cutler who is home vs cinci. I wish I had the balls to go with cutler because he?s playing well lately.

Stay with vick or take a chance?

RB
I?ll obviously start Steven Jackson. We only have 2 RBs in our lineup. All year I had played Thomas Jones. He has been hit or miss, but lately is getting hot. Downside?bears have clinched, and Thomas jones usually only scores on longer runs, with cedric benson getting the short TDs. I went with Reggie bush las week and almost lost because of it.

Stick with Thomas Jones @Det or go with Bush @NYG?

TE
Crumpler, that?s a keeper.

WR
M biggest weakness. I have Torry Holt who will start. I then have 2 more slots to fill. Bernard Berrian has started all year. Will the Bears rest him? I have Chris Chambers who I hate and refuse to start. Lately I?ve been playing Devery Henderson. With Joe Horn out, he?s gotten some TDs but mostly deep balls. He only gets thrown to 2-3 time a game. I picked up Ronald Curry last week. Without moss he has been getting 8-10 receptions a game. They went to him 14 times last week.

Leaning towards: Holt (vs wash), Berrian (@ det) and Curry (vs KC) vs Holt, Berrian and Henderson @NYG.

I would appreciate your feedback guys.

I read in the Chicago papers that the Bears are going to be splitting the carries the rest of the regular season. They want to have Jones fresh for the play-offs.

Bears also threw Peterson in the mix for a bit of the offense last week. Jones didn't play much in the second half at all. They are using three rb's now. There's a good chance this coaching staff will be working on what in the offense doesn't work. Their running game isn't the problem.

for what it's worth.....

Cutler evoked memories of former Bronco John Elway with a 54-yard touchdown pass to Javon Walker last week. However, Walker suffered a first-degree shoulder separation and is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Acquired in an offseason trade with Green Bay, Walker has 62 receptions for 1,007 yards and seven TDs.

He will be facing a weak passing D that has played a weaker overall schedule to this point in the season. Bad thing is Denver will be looking to run 1st against Cinci with Palmer at the helm. Of course if they get down, Cutler's arm will have to be used.

Ronald Curry: Looks Like Raiders' Top Target

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Thursday, December 21, 2006
Update: With Randy Moss (ankle) listed as doubtful and Alvis Whitted (wrist) out for the year, Curry should be Oakland's primary threat in the passing game this Sunday against Kansas City.

Recommendation: Curry has looked good the last few weeks and should see plenty of targets on Sunday with Aaron Brooks under center. Johnnie Morant is making his first career start opposite of Curry, but it isn't as if Oakland has had a strong secondary option all year anyway, so that should make little difference on Curry's production.

Matt Leinart @ OAK :nono:

not a great spot for Matt...Oak is the dogs rearend but their pass "D" is top notch..

since this is the finals I would say ya gotta go w/ Vick...just because of the ability to score himself and get you yards both ways...

keep your eyes and ears posted for is definitive start...Atlanta has nothing but Vick to draw for that team....I don't think they will put him in if there is any question of his heath...That stadium is a ghost town without him

From today's Chicago Sun Times.....

From today's Chicago Sun Times.....

Running back Thomas Jones (ribs, questionable) also practiced, but Cedric Benson should get a big workload at Detroit, and Adrian Peterson may get increased work.
