I have been doing well with these for the past 2 seasons, and I wanted to begin posting. Probably the kiss of death. But anyways.

Units are 100$

YTD: 0-0

There are a lot of plays I like this week. Not normally this many, but here goes.

Portis over Edgerrin James PK EVEN 2 units - winner +200
I like the way the Redskins defense is playing. Number 6 in the league. Haven't allowed a 100 yd rusher, and only 3 rushing tds. And the Cards just suck ass.

Reggie Bush over 17 -115 3 units - winner +300
I think Reggie gets over this number without a TD.

Willis McGahee over Marshawn Lynch -4 -115 3 units LOSER -345
The Baltimore defense is starting to play like they have in the past. Dominating. And McGahee has been a solid if unspectacular performer week after week.

Adrian Peterson over Marion Barber -4 -115 3 units LOSER -345
While Peterson will not duplicate his performance from last week, Minnesota's run defense is dominating, and only having to give 4 against a platoon back is one I have to take.

Larry Johnson over Lamont Jordan -1 -115 4 units
WINNER! +400
LJ finally had his first breakout game last week, and now with Priest finally back in the fold, I think it's going to give him a little extra motivation to bust some ass this week against the pitiful Raiders. On top of that, LJ absolutely owns the Raiders. Best bet of the week.

Carson Palmer over Chad Pennington -6 -130 2 units + -6.5 -130 1 unit LOSER -390
Pennington hasn't done anything fantasy wise all season long. Plus, he could be benched at any time for Kellen Clemens. Against one of the most productive QBs in all of fantasy. I will happily give the 6.

Willie Parker over Travis Henry -2.5 -115 3 units WINNER +300
It's in Mile High, but I think if the Broncos win this game it will be through the air. The Steelers have the number 4 run defense in the league, and Henry's mind will be on his upcoming suspension.

Good luck!

Where do you bet these??? Looks damn fun. standard scoring (4 pt pass TD and the rest?)

Love LJ mostly b/c KC D is under-rated.

Combo comment and asking for advice.........I wonder if Lynch wont just go off against that banged up Raven team. lewis being out would not help your bet.........with that said, I'm starting Lynch in the place of LT this week and am hemming and hawing about Lynch or Fred taylor to pair up w/MJD. I've gotten wins (2005) w/ the LJ/Priest combo, but I'm wondering about the bs thought that Indy can't stop the run, and the Rave inj situation......Lynch has been quite consistent this year (11.8 avg w/8-15 range).........probably sticking w/the rook b/c my match is killed by inj + byes this week.

The sportsbook with the diamond. They have a fair amount of other plays that I have not mentioned. Scoring goes:
1 pts (20 yds rec/rushing)
1 pt(50 yds passing)
6 pts TD
These 2 are helpful
1 pt reception
1/4 pt / rush att
-2 fumble / int

Also pts for return yds.

RE: Your dilemma. The Ravens defense isn't as banged up as you think. They have been absolutely OWNING teams with inferior offenses in fantasy. And guess what? The Bills have the #31 ranked offense. That being said. I think that the Colts run defense is much more solid than in recent years(I watched the game vs. Tampa and there was NO daylight - though Tampa's RB situation ain't exactly a thing of beauty), so I think starting 2 RBs against the same D the same week isn't a decision I like. I would start Marshawn + MJD, and hope that Marshawn does something. (so long as mcgahee does more ;) ) Either way, good luck.

Pennington has been told by Mangini that he's done if he starts poorly. Sure he could get motivated by this, but he still has no arm strength. I am adding one more unit on Palmer. Now -6.5 -130.

Well, 4-3 +120 isn't as good as I had hoped, but still in the black.

Both Peterson and McGahee had healthy leads deep into both of their games, but surprisingly, both Lynch and Barber tacked on TDs, taking away my profit.

I probably didn't deserve to win the Reggie Bush bet, but he scored a late TD and a 2 pt conversion to push him over the 17 points. His 5 receptions certainly helped.

I guess Pennington got motivated. Couldn't have been more wrong about that one.

Hit the biggie, and Willie Parker eked one out at the end.

Till next week.

Nice call on the L. Johnson over L. Jordan bet! Chiefs held the Raiders to only 55 yards on the ground.

It was either Einstein or my old man that said it........"You never go broke turning a profit."

Thanks for advice on Lynch.....he is a must start now and I can't find anyone in my league to trade a WR or QB for him. Need a 16 out of MoJo tonite (10yd=1pt, double pts for TD catch or throw)......maybe someone will trade me a WR for him if he goes off again.

What's the site with a diamond???
