A couple late scores hosed me last week. Time to get back on track. Back to the grind.

Bet of the Week

Clinton Portis(-1) vs Thomas Jones 5 units -115 winner :00hour +500
Redskins have the #7 defense vs the run. The Jets have the #27. Redskins got shellacked last week. They give some back.

Braylon Edwards(-5) vs DJ Hackett 4 units -115 Loser  -460
Braylon has been MONEY thus far this year. The Seahags have a receiver by committee. That's all I need.

Carson Palmer(-4.5) vs Jp Losman 3 units -115 WINNER!:00hour +300
Both the Bills and Bungles have terrible secondaries. I give a serious edge to Palmer in this matchup, however. I think he's ready to have a big game. This is a perfect situation for him to do so.

Joseph Addai (-2.5) vs Laurence Maroney 3 units -115 WINNER! +300
Maybe the memory of Addai steamrolling the Pats in the 4th quarter of the AFC championship game is still too fresh in my mind. But Addai looks like he's back on track, and given that Maroney has 0 tuddies this year, I really like this play.

Fraud Taylor (+7) vs Reggie Bush 2 units -115 Loser  -230
Just too many points to be giving up to a team with a good defense.

Anquan Boldin (PK) vs Joey Galloway 2 units -115 Loser  -230
I know Tampa has the second best pass d in the league, but I just have a gut feeling with this one.

That's it for now... Good luck!

I look forward to these every week

Love Portis, Edwards

Addai and Palmer smell like traps

Thought it was PPR on points? That Bush bet seems dicey. So does Boldin (you did say it was hunch) b/c of Big Play Galloway (doesn't he seem to get a 40+ TD w/freakish frequency?)

Not bashin', just don't have these bets to play myself...........Good Luck peteyboy!!

Doc, it is PPR on points. It is also PPC. That being said, 7 points when it's 20 yds/point is a ton. I think Fraudy is going to do enough to get it done. This is going to be one of those 13-10 affairs with a ton of defense.

I know Palmer smells like a trap for sure. I still like him though... I think the edge at qb and wr vs the Bills makes him a worthy selection.

Addai, I don't know if that scares me at all. Sure Maroney looked good last week, but Addai looked dominant. I think Bob Sanders bottles up Maroney, and the Colts run the ball with *some* effectiveness. We shall see.

Freddy looks better at 20yds/pt for sure.

I'm likin' 'em all......just see Indy overworkin' the game plan to try and slow up Brady, which creates some space for Maroney.......that said, Addai might get 30 touches catching passes and being a battering ram. I'm cheerin'' for ya:00hour

+180 this week.

Still treading water a bit. Once again, a big bet away from turning the corner, still profitable though.

Well, about that defensive struggle in N'awlins that I predicted. We can talk about that some other time...

Portis was easy $$. Edwards had many opportunities to catch big point producers, but couldn't get it done. Addai was also easy. Palmer squeaked one out. And the cardinals are a freaking disaster.

Edwards got vultured but good, and I think he dropped one TD maybe??

Nice calls on Palmer, Portis, and Joe-Joe. Never go broke turning a profit.
