Hi i am joining a fanatasy football league that friends of mine are running. They said its a head to head each week. Could someone help explain this and also are there any places I can look to see which players have done well in the past in fantasy points. And also who is expected to do well this year. Please help. i just got talked into participating in a fantasy league, and if i could get a list of these sites i would appreciate it.
Go to your local newsstand. There are lots of mags this time of year on fantasy football. It will be handy during the draft for crossing out players who are drafted as well as remembering players for yourself to draft.
Head to head means that your starters will play (head to head) against another teams starters each week. If your starters score more points than your opponents starters, then you will be 1-0. (continues each week)

One problem with the magazines is that their info tends to be dated. Not bad for basics, but I'm sure you'll want to get your info from the sites I.E. will be posting. In the past I've used Fantasy Guru and Fanball, but there many good sites. Good Luck.
One other note--find out when your league plays it's Super Bowl and make sure none of your key players are on their bye week. Also most leagues are dominated by teams with 2 good running backs. If at all possible take 2 solid RBs with your first 2 picks.
