Earnest Graham: Could Get 25-30 Carries vs. Titans

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Saturday, October 13, 2007
Update: Graham may get as many as 25 or 30 carries when the Buccaneers face the Titans on Sunday, the team web site reports.
Recommendation: With Cadillac Williams (knee) and Michael Pittman (ankle) both going down with injuries in the past two weeks, Graham will get the start for the Bucs on Sunday. Head coach Jon Gruden said Friday that Graham should be ready for a busy day. "When Earnest comes out of the game, who?s going in? We?ve got some inexperience surrounding him right now. He?s in tremendous physical shape, and as much as he can take, he?ll get." The Titans rank in just the middle of the league in average yards allowed per rush, so there's a halfway decent chance Graham could have a productive day Sunday.

Derrick Ward: Limited Friday

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Friday, October 12, 2007
Update: Ward (ankle) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Falcons, the Giants' official site reports.

Recommendation: He's on the smaller side of a timeshare with Brandon Jacobs, while Jacobs is going to get the goal-line touches as well. Given the Monday night start time and the limited participation Friday, consider your other options at running back before deploying Ward in Week 6.

Graham probably has a better chance of scoring but Ward will likely run for more yards. I think Graham will run for about 50 and a td

Graham vs. Ward

Graham vs. Ward

With Ward hobbled and sharing, Graham seems like the play here. He is going to try to prove something and Ward might not see even 20 % of the carries.

Tough choice, but Graham will get a td too.
