I live In Boca Raton and graduated from FAU last year.
My brother and my best friend are both sophomores there.
I have seen FAU go from the worst team in Div 1 2 years ago to an NCAA Birth this year. Sid Green has done and amazing job turning the program around.

With all of this said FAU can in now way shape or form play on the same court as Bama. This size matchup is a joke. All of my basketball friends and I almost died when the line came out at 17.
We all had predictions of anywhere from 30 to 45.

Fau will be lucky to score in the 30's....

Play Bama for your biggest play.
Play Bama 1st half -10 for an ever bigger play

My last Local play was earlier this year when S.ILL was -18 vs Hartford. I grew up in hartford and knew that S.ILL was drill them..I think the final score was something like 78-38

As a fellow FAU alumni I have to agree our Owls are getting a little to much respect here, I have this one capped at Bama by at least 25.

FAU played mediocre all season and then got hot late beating sub average teams in their conference. They have zero quality wins. They beat teams like Jacksonville, Jacksonville St., Stetson (real powerhouses LOL!!!) and then suprised an average Georgia St. team in the A-SUN championship.

As much as I believe Alabama to be overrated and non deserving of a 2 seed, they catch a break playing the Owls in the first round. This is truly a mismatch in every sense of the word. FAU may lose by 40 here. Lock and Load on Bama!!!!!!

But MF do me a favor, put $5 bucks on our boys on the money line +1400. Just think if they win you could say you called possibly the greatest upset in college basketball history.
