Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, said Monday the status of the coronavirus pandemic in the US is "really not good" as new cases surge across the country.

"We are still knee-deep in the first wave of this. And I would say, this would not be considered a wave. It was a surge, or a resurgence of infections superimposed upon a baseline," Fauci said in Facebook Live interview with National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Francis Collins.

So uh.......yesterday, Both Florida and California tested a combined 21,000+ people. Yesterday. I have no clue how the logistics work for testing and THEN reporting the results......but it seems to me that it is entirely possible that some of these numbers may be pure estimates and/or something....not sure. Weird.

I thought I saw where the Tenn Gov was keeping things locked down til 29 August? And in spite of the numbers Florida's Gov said school would start this fall and kids would attend class!
