Ok, when it comes to a artery clogging,
stomach expanding, gas inducing meal I
would like to know what my fellow MJack
members like. For me, it's easy!

IN AND OUT
That's what a burger is all about.

LOL, YYZ.....i LOVE to cook, actually, but when we do on the rare occasion go out, it's usually to one of those type places, rather than to a nicer dinner type place such as TGIFriday's.

but you are in WI......let's see, would you have YOUR oven going for 2 hours tonight at 400 degrees with no air conditioning???

(hmmmmm, as i think about that, 400 degrees may WORK as A/C today....would someone turn off the sauna, please?.......i'm having a garage sale this weekend, and it's major ugly trying to get ready for!!!)

Mama--

HOT is right.. Damn, and I was thinking last week it was hot. Last week was mearly warm-- this week, its HOT!
Favorite fast food joint, huh? I vote none-- they all suck.....
And thats the honest truth. The food is unfit for human consumption, but since we are innudated with their ads, and mom and dad took us to at least one when we were kids...... and sometimes you are starving and don't want to cook...

You missed one, Mama-

A and W Root Beer-- they are making a comeback here in Iowa. I saw them everywhere in Wisconsin when we were up there earlier in July.

I'll give you Happy Joes and Whitey's(best Ice cream I've ever eaten comes from whitey's.....

) but you can keep Grinders and the Maid Rite.

Probably grab a pie from Harris tonight, mama.......

I eat at most junk food places. Prefer Wendy's over Mc Dee"s and Burger King.Favorite burger joint is Steak n Shake.
Papa John's has replaced Pizza Hut as my favorite carry out pizza.Hooters are my fav for wings. Being from Wi, i do miss White Castle and A and W.

Reds......oh MY, don't know how i forgot A & W, and Ripper.....geez, don't know how i forgot Steak and Shake, either!!!! Their fries and steakburgers are pure heaven. Where do you know Steak and Shake from? I thought they were confined to IA and IL (first being in Peoria) .....learned something else new here, too.....i thought A & W was a national chain, guess not, huh?

REDS, REDS, REDS, it is just plain unquadcitian not to like maid rite
biggrin.gif
(whether it's any good or not is immaterial...LOL) .... and as far as grinders goes, i don't like them, either

'Bout a hunnert years ago, I was in a White Castle and two guys were at the counter drinking coffee and started to argue.

In the heat of the argument, the one guy turned his head for a moment and the other guy put his false teeth in the other guy's coffee.

I prefer Culvers, tolerate Wendys and hate mcd, bk and hardees. My dad loves Maid Rites (hes 84) so we go there at least once a month. There is a Steak and Shake In Terre Haute that I frequent when I'm unlucky enough to be working there (purely from a distance viewpoint). I cannot eat traditional breakfasts 2 days in a row so I love getting steakburgers to eat at 5 - 6 am.
