1. Tradition: Before the meal we go around the table and say what we are thankful for each year.

2. Dish: Green Bean casserole with french fried onions on top.

1. Drive to the South Side (by BBC and KDogg) and go to my friends mom's house for the big spread she puts out. She looks forward to me coming over and starts planning months ahead. Her husband passed away a few years back and she really enjoys this for the holiday.

2. Brownberry Sage & Onion Stuffing :)

Bizarre! I told my wife, whatever you do, make that green bean casserole with the onions just yesterday. I could eat the whole damn dish.

Of course, I'm partial to the dressing as well.

Happy Thanksgiving Dr. and everyone here at MadJacks.

Not sure about a favorite tradition....

But dish has to be the sweet potatoes. My aunt makes them about 4 ways, and half my plate is loaded up every year.

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

A tradition I used to have before my grandfather passed away was that my cousin, uncle, grandfather and me would go quail hunting on Thanksgiving day. Seemed like that was the only time all four of us could get together for a hunt.

Favorite dish is a sweet potato souffle I make every year. I am not allowed in the house if I don't bring it. (It is easy to make and if anyone wants the recipe, let me know)

Ironically I just took the greenbean cas. out of the oven.......

My favorite tradition is staying out the night before playing sheepshead with the boy till the we hours of the morning. Got home at 3:15 this morning and the kids woke me up at 6:30... :scared :scared :scared

O well the tradition continues............

Not your traditional--

went to parents 2 weeks ago for early T-giving to avoid traffic and had Turtle my fav mom always makes when i come home.

Yesterday -T-giving day went to friends house and had Hot Pot--also called Chaffee dish--maybe Chops or Chanman can relate

Today festivities at home--Beer Duck or Goose I should say brought back to me from Canada on 6-5's last hunting excursion.

Hashbrown Casserole is my fav

Tradition is gaining an extra 5 pounds in one sitting, and snoring really loud that night making the wife very thankful for me!
