The Nicolas Mahut match was void so the parlay became a straight play at 1.50 odds (-200).

Kick, when u were on tour did u ever hear rumours of players being "bought"?

Never really adds up for a guy w/ a future. At the low levels, maybe but the $$ can't be much.

1) I am convinced that Davydenko was threatened by the Russian mob and tanked at least one match.

2) The story about Labadze had to have some legs. If he didn't tank it, then there was some significant injury news that someone had inside info on.

Ok first off I was never really "on tour" I think you have to actually win matches for that to happen:mj07:

The Davydenko match was looked at by more people then looked into the Kennedy assassination, nothing happened in that match, I would bet my life on it. Hell the investigation lasted like 2.5 years. That has to be the most legit tennis match ever played.

Has there been a player ranked in Top 1000 that has tanked a match because they were paid off, yes. Does it happen often, not even close. There were thousands and thousands and thousands of matches played last year on Futures, Challengers and Main Tour, maybe 10 were not legit and that is a stretch. But does it happen, yes, but oh so rare. It happens way more on WTA Tour, young females are easily intimidated and buying them off is way easier.

Bottom line on both tours it is so so rare for a player to get bought off.

Very rare.
