Good signing for Bellator. Good loss for the UFC business model. Dana said it best...Not looking for 1 to 15 fighters.

Can someone explain to me why Weidman, who IMO got thoroughly dominated by Rockhold is getting a rematch at UFC199 but Jose Aldo, who IMO lost very fluke like and doesn't get a rematch when he's the ONLY featherweight champion in the history of the UFC? I really don't get it...

I say fluke like with the disclaimer of those types of KO's and wins are very few and far between. Don't necessarily think the punch was a fluke. But I'd be willing to bet if they fought 100x that the same result would probably only happen 1x.

After Conor gets smashed by Rafael dos Anjos he'll go back to his division and a rematch may happen. But Edgar deserves the fight before Aldo does, just sayin'

We can agree to disagree. I think Edgar deserves a title fight, but I do think Aldo deserves a rematch. I would be okay with Edgar getting a shot then Aldo getting the winner I guess.

I`m with you on this one....loving what McGregor has done but he`s putting the cart before the horse here...

bigger man...better wrestler...solid chin(only one k.o. loss, waaayyy back before dos anjos`s "rebirth")...one of the better grinders in the game today...pressure,pressure,pressure...

and...lefty vs lefty...those conor straight lefts and fancy kicks won`t work here........with the exception of the Jeremy stephens stoppage back in 2008,dos anjos has only lost to guys whose strength is basically grappling....does anybody see McGregor blowing through a cerrone or ferguson or Nurmagomedov?...hell,i doubt he could handle nate diaz in a stand-up fight(size and length).... dos anjos is drubbing great lightweight fighters at this point in his career.

that said,it`s a smart play for McGregor...one fight to be a simultaneous two division champ.....I`d roll the dice,myself...he loses and "he was fighting the bigger man".....he still has the 145 lb belt.....

what I don`t get are those odds favoring McGregor(he deserves big-time hype, but this is just a bridge too far)....I`m either gonna make a shitpot load of money or start over from scratch...

Not going to lie, MMA is getting to the point with me like baseball, and college sports have.

It's just hard to follow and become a loyal fan of a fighter, team, player, school when you just don't ever know who is clean or not cheating.(Cheating in college sports IMO is the wrong term though).

I was rooting for Souza to win that fight though anyways.

way too many lame fights to fill up the fox deal

I find myself watching less mma, and listening to more podcasts by fans who really enjoy the fights
