January 24th - Affliction
line opened this morning at:

-600 Fedor
-400 Arlovski

early money on Andrei...now line stands at -475 / +325

also GSP slightly over 2 to 1 against BJ

on a side note:
http://www.bestfightodds.com/

this site is pretty sweet...if you click on any line, it shows you the history (where it opened, and where it is now)

If you click on a fighter's name, it shows you the betting history of that fighter the last year or so

MMA only...wish boxing had a site like this !

It's always interesting to see crazy line moves...you can catch some real gems early sometimes

(I believe NJ got Lujan +400 over Castillo, and JMM opened almost even with Casamayor)

good site,g.k...thanks..

i`m not saying that anybody`s beating fedor....but if anybody has a shot,i think it`s arlovski....i`ve seen fedor buzzed...and arlovski is quick and strong....

stay standing andre....fedor can get a little loose and frenetic with his striking...

Don't like Arloski's ground game at all. Hands look better each and every time. I think Fedor will stand for a little and its down to the ground they go.

......

Fedor has more ways that he can win but AA obviously has a punchers chance. IMO, AA is worthless on his back though. Fedor can win on the ground or feet where AA can only win standing

GSP will beat Penn. 5 rounds favors him a good bit.

I dont think Arlovski lasts more than two rounds... he'll be overwhelmed on the feet, and Fedor's ground and pound is unlike anything AA has ever seen. AA badly outclassed in Sambo, too.

Fedor spent a good bit of time filming a movie a few months back.... could be a factor. He got beat in the Sambo Championships this year for this first time in years... (got beat on points)

Penn vs GSP = Incredible. Absolutely incredible. :SIB

penn did well but faded in the first one....i see no reason for anything to change...

well, he actually trains hard as hell and eats healthy now... also has quit drinking alcohol, which allows him to keep his gains in the gym... may not sound like much of a change, but he insists it has been huge for him... no more McDonald's, no more nights on the town... all he does is train, go home to his personal chef, rinse, and repeat.

both fighters are twice as good as they were then... Penn's takedown defense has gotten 1000 times better since that fight, but then again GSP is quicker than ever.

GSP got beaten so badly in the first round of their first fight, it became the Ultimate Takedown Championship in rounds two and three. He wont do that to Penn this time around -- he works his sprawl about 800 times a day training for this fight..

Just stickin up for my homey.... :) Im not going to pretend like I have clue who will win this fight. I think the odds on Penn are awesome.

odds are no longer 'awesome', btw.... at this point i doubt i'll make a play b/c i didnt jump on him early.. odds will have to shift in Penn's favor again.

and there is some question to how Penn will hold the weight... he is doing more lifting, and it makes sense that the added muscle will affect his cardio to an extent. Penn should realize that and I expect him to weigh in around 167.

It is on. My whole week will revolve around Penn vs. GSP. With kickserv chasing GSP around the country, we all know GSP will come in good shape, as always.
