I wasn't that excited about Afflictions first show.....way too many mismatches but wew baby is kickserv ever excited about Affliction's 2nd show:fit01: :11jackson :11jackson

I really don't care if the rest of the card stinks, this one fight is well worth the ticket price or PPV.

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski

sweeeeeeeeeet :00x30

As I said before I hope Affliction learns from some of the really stupid mistakes they made on the first card, this is a card where they should not lose millions. Although I am sure Fedor will be making around 2.5 million for this fight so I sure hope they aren't stupid and learn from their mistakes.

Props to Affliction for this fight!

I love AA but he will get ko'd or sub'd in the first round. He doesn't have the chin to stay with Fedor. Hopefully the line will be in the 300s like with Silvia, it's free money!

"ditto" this statement... Maybe not in the first round, but I think Fedor will win by TKO at some point within 3 rds.

Still...... i feel AA is the best MMA striker Fedor has faced. Mirko tries to land that one big shot, but AA swarms in with punches if he lands a good one.. i think of AA's style as more effective against Fedor rather than looking for that one huge blow.

I think this might end up being a boring fight. AA will go back to his old style of avoiding the take down at all cost. He had to come up big his first fight. I thought he looked terrible on the ground the last fight and if Fedor gets him on the ground its over. I see AA fighting the same type of fight he fought against Werdum. Fedor does have better luck being able to get in close so we shall see.

Also, Fedor isn't the type to rush in for a takedown..... If AA is too concerned about a takedown, he's gonna get lit up on the feet.

If AA fights like he did on the 19th.......LOOK OUT FEDOR.........If AA fights like he did against Sylvia...it will be boring. And AA will just give the fight to Fedor.

I don't think that will happen though....AA will come out flying and will have a great shot at beating that over-hyped Fedor. Don't get me wrong Fedor is good, damn good, but I mean he ain't GSP, and last time I checked he didn't walk on water, and doesn't live in Metropolis.

The guy just beat Tim Sylvia for fu**s sake...and if AA fights like he can fight.........then LOOK OUT:scared

And remember Fedor's fight calender is a tad sparse to say the least.....when ya fight so many guys that suck, it will catch up to ya, all of a sudden you are actually in a fight:SIB Kind of like what happened to Kimbo (and yes Kimbo sucks and I am not comparing him to Fedor or anyone else in top 10 million) he was used to winning in 4 milliseconds...look at what happened when he was in there for more then a minute. Fedor may be in for a shock if this thing goes to the late rounds.

Ur right....... he's not GSP.... he's better. :yup

And Fedor doesn't tap out due to strikes like GSP. :142smilie

AA has nothing for Fedor. He's not better striking or on the ground. If Fedor can take a Hunt strike to the head and be ok then I know for sure he can take AA hitting him. He'll destroy AA and then destroy Randy after that. It will be the two easiest money makers we've had since GSP vs Hughes 2

Well ummm.....guess I take back what I said then...I am not excited about the fight now.....AA has nothing for Fedor, oh well....I was excited for a couple hours:SIB

Guess that "nothing" I saw against Ben Rothwell, Jake O'Brien, Paul Buentello, Justin Eilers and Vladimir Matyushenko was jut well...."nothing". No power, no aggressiveness, no nothing. Damn....and I was excited.

Guess Fedor does walk on water and I guess he does live in Metropolis.

Damn....Damn Damn Damn...I was so excited.

Unimpressed w/ AA against O'Brien (O'brien has no concept of jiu-jitsu... he just got mounted and pounded on... cant give Arlovski too much credit for that win), but i'm loving this matchup.. :00hour Only based on AA's performance against Rothwell, though. He looked very good.

Be there or be square. :0corn

Still like Fedor to win by TKO w/i three rounds. :SIB

Im talking about the way AA goes about this fight. When he knows he is in for a fight he fights very safe. By the way why is it every time i think of Fedor i see him get slammed on his head by Randleman? Imagine doing that to someone and they still want to fight.:scared

Of course you are not comparing Fedor to Kimbo. One is undefeated and the other is Fedor.:mj07:

I agree..... thats why I like Fedor to win fairly quickly... Arlovski looked great against Rothwell, but he has looked hesitant and timid against some of the better, more powerful heavyweights he has faced.

Never know what AA will show up.

andrei has a lot of speed and power, but he doesn't seem too bright. the guy went for 2 feckless ankle locks against ben and as a result ended up on his back. when you fail once you should be smart enough not to do a dumb move again.

also, it took a while before he realized that the best way to prevent an o'brien take down would be to turn the tables on him and take o'brien down.

andrei is not a quick study and i expect that will play a role in him getting trounced by fedor.

well,be you an andrei guy or not,i think he`s the most legit opponent fedor`s seen since pride...

lindland`s tough(and ugly),but he`s not really a heavyweight...

fedor`s quicks had sylvia looking like a deer caught in the headlights... turns out that it`s much smarter putting fedor in with big, slow guys...he eats them up...

arlovski`s pretty proficient on his feet and he`s an athlete...

i mean, it`s better than watching fedor vs these huge slow guys...

i know i`m in the minority, but,i`d much rather see this fight than fedor vs randy "mungo man" couture....
