My local called me with today's lines and he has TB-ATL O-U at 6.5 I already called in 25 units on this total, I really like the UNDER as TB has tightened up their defensive play and neither team has any scoring power. I can cancel up till game time, any thoughts would be appreciated!!

I like the play at 6, but 6.5 is great.

You have well under 3 goals for and against averages for both teams.

Tampa 2-7 on the Under. Looks solid, but don't know about 25 units since anything can happen and Atl has had 3 of 8 games with 7 goals.

Just my little input. Good luck.

definitely an attractive line, i would play that, just remember it's one game and anything can happen. no need to bet a ridiculous amount on a tampa bay/atlanta hockey game in my opinion. good luck!!

Thanks guys, my bookie just called me and said he is getting big $$ on the over, what a stupid local I have, a BOOKIE SHOULD NEVER TELL HIS PLAYERS WHERE THE $$ IS GOING. He has changed the juice,

Line is now Over 6.5 -130
Under 6.5 +120

Too bad, I have 25 units on Under 6.5 -110
I could cancel my bet, but his rules are that I wouldn't be allowed to re wager on this game, the +120 looks attractive!!!

Will make a decison by game time to cancel or not!!

My capping points to an UNDER.

I know its poor $ management but I just can't see Detroit losing 2 in a row, plus they have an excellent record against NASHVILLE

Whatever... you definitely were on the right side here. The main reason why your local had the big money on the OVER was probably because of the trend favoring it in this matchup (now 8-3 O/U between the 2 teams). But both teams seem to play a different hockey style now... just some tough luck here.. 6.5 was just too much.

As for the money management thing, well I don't think that there's any "correct" money management system as long as you can afford to lose what you bet.. like you said many times. It just depends of the way you look at it. Believe me - not that I encourage this kind of approach but it's still the undeniable truth - those who make the big money in this world are not always the smart ones (like in "smart money management"), it's those having the biggest balls. In my mind, a "near-perfect" gambler (as there's no such thing as perfection) would be one being very smart and at the same having enormous balls.. Anyway.. maybe I just drank a bit too much last night...
