Ok this one on Saturday really jumps out at me.

AUSTRALIA(-15) over Jordan for 165 wins 150. -- This is a no brainer unless this is some Michael Jordan team and not the country Jordan.

Australia is a very solid squad with some nice scorers and guys who have NBA experience. Patrick Mills is a good scoring PG and David Andersen had many quality minutes with Rockets last year.
Aussies are coming off a big win vs. a France team with Boris Diaw and Pietrus.
They also had another nice win over Brazil recently.

Jordan has lost 3 straight games coming into FIBA and the quality was terrible.
Jordan is coming off a loss to Lebanon by 9.
Add to that Jordan had to leave one of their better big men off the roster due to recent injury.

Jordan struggles to score and Austrlia is one of the better defensive teams in the tournament.

Aussies will be up double figures at the half and should win this by 25 or more.

Might add a 1stH play if I see one.

Adding a parlay:

Parlay
Greece(-18) over China
Lithuania(-15) over New Zealand
60 wins 158

China lost by 26 to Canada a few weeks ago so enough said. Greece is way better than Canada and this game counts. Greece should be up 20+ entering the 4th.

New Zealand lost to Jordan a few days back so that should say enough about them.
Lithuania loves to bomb the 3's and this one could and should get ugly early.

Yep Aussies are making Jordan look like Princeton with all the backdoor cut layups.
Aussie may not even win the way they are playing.
Sad thing is they can get whatever they want if they pound the post but they go away from it.

Greece is not pulling away from China either. :(
Greece was pulling away up 13 early 3rd now China is down 3 late 3rd.

Well the Greek coach just uttered my exact thoughts during the timeout.

He told them they are not hustling and they are playing zero defense.

Then he says "F*ck you guys" :142smilie

I agree coach. F*ck you guys.

Time to try and get some back.

Lebanon(+190) over Canada for 40 wins 76.

Canada should not be favored over anybody in any sport not played on ice.

And the favs have been less than stellar thus far in the tournament.

Good job.
I put to much weight into the exhibition results instead of waiting and seeing how these teams are going to play.
Should have been on a few dogs but really liked the matchups.

I would love to see China win at this point.

Reason I took all the dogs last night, was that I REMEMBER them doing pretty well early and covering.. And I think USA didnt cover til like the 3rd rd... (this may have been FIBA or OLY, I dont remember, but still close enough in that the lines will be a little heavy toward faves on rd 1 here... How about CHINA and especially JORDAN!!!

You are thinking of the Olympics. I came into FIBA over confident after incredible Olympics for me.
Dogs were hitting early then the better teams were hammering the weak,

Jordan plays NO DEFENSE at all. They don't have a clue how to stop screen and roll.
Aussies are just a dumb team and I thought they were strong on defense but not showing it.

Australia coach should pull any guy who takes another shot outside the lane. They can get a layup EVERY single trip down the floor if they want it.

Aussies made this way harder than it had to be.
Jordan defense is AWFULLLLLLLLL,
Jordan keeps hitting a 3 when they need one keeping them close.

Guy keeps saying David Andersen is a Houston Rocket??

The Rockets traded him last month to the Raptors when they signed Brad Miller.

I kept saying that I would have rather kept Andersen than sign Brad Miller.
Andersen is a very nice bench player and is showing his skills today.
2 clutch ft's.

Damn it the one favorite that I liked and left alone is rolling.
I thought Serbia would have no problems with Angola because of the height advantage.
I didn't touch it because Serbia is a young and somewhat of an unknown team.

Angola is so small that they would actually get bigger if they added Gary Coleman.

Canada currently winning in 3rd quarter......and when Steve Nash comes in in the 4th quarter it is all over.

Unlike other countries.......no matter what the sport "we play hard".

Canada baby.......:firing: :firing:

It does seem to be an uphill fight for Lebanon to hang in, but 2-1 odds and down 1 starting the 4th is nice.
Canada is living off the 3 so could go either way. Teams that live by the 3 die by the 3.

And Nash is not coming in. He has no loyalty to his country.
