Im playing England to win Group B at minus 200 for $ 4000 , to win 2000. i think is easy money , the only negative point is the time factor , theres still more than 70 days for world cup. but i cant see Paraguay, Trin Tob, or Sweeden winning England, they have a great team and i predict a good Cup for England with players like Beckham, Lampard, Rooney, Owen, etc
Please post your opinion

Beckham sucks and will probably cost them an important game along the line. Wouldn't be the first time. So many good English players and they hold onto this overrated pretty boy because his marriage to a spice girl helps sells souvenirs. Forget the shirt sales......insert a real captain and you will see a huge difference! Rooney is great and probably the biggest factor on the English squad but I'm worried his hot-head will make him an easy target by instigators. Lampard is awesome. Owen is good but living off old hype. Gerrard is a stud though. Don't forget the 'Canadian' influence with Hargreaves coming off the bench.

As for your bet, I hope you win (and on paper you should) but I think the price is not far off.

i think sweeden is the best team in that group.just my opinion. and paraguay is always a tough out,i can see england advancing without winning the group,i think you can find a better prop risking -200. gl though.

Hey guys, my first post 'cos I usually dont have much to add to the well informed stuff I read on these boards!

I'm Irish & watched Sweden play us in a friendly which we won 3-0 a few weeks ago (The result isn't too important but it gave me a look at them nonetheless). The Swedes are no doubt a good side and deserve respect but it's well worth remembering that they have nowhere near the depth that England have. A few injuries/off form players can seriously dent Sweden's hopes, particularly at full back, where I think they're weak generally. Keep an eye on this and the form of both Larsson and Ibrahimovic, who are pivotal. Arsenal's Freddie Ljunberg is another factor but to date, he has been poor this season.

England are a bit overrated but the Rooney factor is huge and if he plays, England play. It's a better team than the one that finished runners up to Sweden in their WC2002 group. I have to agree that they are healthy faves for the group but I think it's likely it could again end up on the same points and goal difference will decide.

Hope this helps...
