Kansas made five of 28 three-point attempts in two games in St. Louis last weekend. Senior point guard Tyshawn Taylor has not made a three-point shot in a dome in his career; he is 0 for 17. :scared
Instead of having the court at one end of the dome, as it had in the past, it put it in the middle on a raised platform.
Attendance increased from less than 45,000 the previous year in San Antonio to more than 70,000.
Larger might not be better for shooters, though.
The configuration was retained two years ago in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and last year at Reliant Stadium in Houston, where Connecticut and Butler combined for the fewest points (94) in an NCAA championship game since 1949.
