Been a very good tournament and ain't it something how you start with boatload of players and wind up with "dream" finals for BOTH, men and women?

Just to share my thoughts:
If you're ahead and need to put part or all your winnings on either Finale (esp. MEN's side) to enjoy these great matchups - :nono:
GOOD LUCK. Handicapping for the winner on the men's side?.... :nono: :nono: PLENTY of good luck to you. AND congrats to those who get it right, NICE WORK.

Men's Side
IF I didn't HATE (with a passion) the thought of giving back profits (that exceeded my expectations before this tourney started) , and I was gonna put some units down on this thing - I'd analyze the ODDS, NOT the players for this match. Just add up your thoughts and see where it goes.. like I WOULD (NOT gonna do, though :)) figure it this way.. .

- Knowledgeble players (ESP. those around here) think Murray has a chance. How do we stack up with the rest of the world? Not so good... thems think Fed. has a better chance and I'm sure there's a ton of better cappers out there than us. BUT, just maybe there's more tennisholics (ie, tennis degenerates) out there that are wrong.

- Now, ya gotta take a stance IF YOU insist that you gotta get something down for this great match :nono:

- For me, I plan on just WATCHING the men's finale and I'll enjoy it BIG TIME. But, if I just hadda play something - it would be on the OVER (and 40 is the no. RIGHT NOW, just checked). Since we all know what can happen...

... . why not take it easy with the dang units, take a deeper stand, and get some leverage? Given that this match is a tossup, houw bout TWO plays, maybe like.....

Murray wins 3 sets to 1 @ +475 :scared

Ladies Side
If I was in a trance all along and just woke up, I'd take a shot with ....

Henin -110 (last odds I saw, PROB. diff. now but doesn't matter - I'd go with Henin). Asfaras what I'm really gonna do -> I gotta insure the Henin prop. with a play on the Big Porker. ONLY ENOUGH TO INSURE THAT SOME MORE ICING GOES ON THE CAKE I managed to build during the tourney. Beta believe, I'll be rooting for Henin cause if she wins it all ... it's gonna be real sweek cake. YUM YUM !

That's it, GL, Jackers

If you are going to play Murray to win, I think 3-2 is the way to go. Fed DOES NOT get beat in straights in any match, especially a Grand Slam. (almost never) Take a look at his last year's Grand Slam Finals:

US Open: Lost to (6)Juan Martin Del Potro 3-6 7-6(5) 4-6 7-6(4) 6-2

Wimbledon: Def. (6)Andy Roddick 5-7 7-6(6) 7-6(5) 3-6 16-14

French Open: Def. (23)Robin Soderling 6-1 7-6(1) 6-4

Australian Open: Lost to (1)Rafael Nadal 7-5 3-6 7-6(3) 3-6 6-2

Three of those four matches went to a fifth set and he lost two of them. At the French he played a five-setter vs Del Potro in the semis. Roger has played brilliantly in Grand Slams before a final all the time. The final, though, is a different beast. Federer is not the same player mentally he was just a few years ago. There is no longer the intimidation factor that was present in years past. Fed has shown a vulnerability in recent years when challenged. Look at those fifth set scores from his two GS losses last year. 6-2 to Nadal and 6-2 to Del Potro. Simply put the younger players are hungrier now and it shows when it comes down to a one set match.

I'm not saying Fed will lose, but IF he does, my money is on him losing in a fifth set.

Murray to win 3-2 +575 2u
